Yips to Licks! Puppy Socialization
Socialization helps your puppy become acclimated to all types of sights, sounds, and smells in a positive manner. These classes not only help your puppy begin to understand basic commands but also exposes them to other dogs and people. This class blends socialization and preliminary obedience to prepare your puppy for the next level.
More importantly, it starts you and your puppy off on the right path to a good bond.
Age: puppies 8 weeks to 6 months
Prerequisite: none
Sit, Stay, Ok! Basic Obedience
This class covers sit, down, come, stay, loose leash walking and a variety of other exercises. Your dog will learn to work through distractions and you learn how to teach good behavior in the real world. Each week includes homework with skills to work on before the next class.
Age: dogs 6 months and older

You’re a GOOD dog! Advanced Obedience
This class is designed for dogs who are working on furthering their foundation. Exercises will be conducted in a variety of areas to work on proofing and distractions. Off-leash stays, recalls and heeling are worked
extensively to ensure your dog is solid. New exercises such as jumping and holding objects will be added. At this level, the expectations are that you are working with your dog every day at least 20 minutes to strengthen your training.
Age: 10 months and older
Prerequisite: Basic Obedience
Young Dog, Old Dog, Trick Dog! Tricks Class I & II
You probably don’t realize it but you have already taught your dog to do lots of tricks! Sit, down, stand, stay or come? Those are just like tricks! Teaching behaviors and tricks are often interchangeable. Teaching and learning tricks also encourages a great bond with your dog. Whether luring, capturing or shaping the behavior, you will be astonished at how quickly your dog will catch on! Tricks that are covered in the class include:
- Shake (both paws)
- Circle & Spin
- Rollover
- Weave (between legs or polls)
- Return (sit between legs)
- Bark on cue (“Speak”)
- Back Up
- Crawl (dog on belly, crawls at least 5 feet)
- Find it (find treat hidden under cup)
- Get your ___________. (Leash, brush, name of toy)
- Hand signals (down, sit, or come)
- High five
- Paws up (2 front paws on low stool or step)
- Touch it (hand or target stick)
Tricks learned will be determined prior to class starting. The number of tricks depends on the work you and your dog put in at home!

Dogalates! Core & Strength
Just like humans dogs can benefit from building core strength, balance and stability. We all care about our dogs and this will help with many aspects of their health. It can help dogs of any age, from puppy development to the senior dog that has lost strength and stability from age related weakness.
This class also is also a workout for the human. You can choose to workout with your dog or just have your dog workout.
**Safety is priority** BLOF has balance and stability exercises for all dogs and will ensure that safety comes first! All exercises for humans and dogs can be modified.

Canine Freestyle! Groovin with Your Dog
Explore the exciting world of Canine Freestyle in this fun filled class! Freestyle is a creative sport that combines tricks, music and dancing! Bond with your dog, develop a great partnership and have a blast with your dog! It’s okay if you do not have any dancing experience, all are welcome.
What to expect to learn in this class?
Pivoting/ hind end awareness, positioning (heel, side, front, follow), backing up, weaves, spin, bow, kicks.

Brain Games! The Mind at Work
Looking for some fun ways to entertain your dog, boost their confidence and stimulate their mind? If so start adding some brain games into their routine. Mental stimulation enriches our dogs lives by giving them something meaningful to do.

Attention! Focus & Control
This class will focus on your relationship with you and your dog. How to get your dog to pay attention to you in public with lots of distractions. The class will combine games with focus and is designed help dogs that have a hard time working in stressful situations.

Double Trouble! Training 2 Dogs
Do YOU have issues walking both of your dogs at the same time? Do you wish you could give your dog’s separate commands at the same time and have both of them listen? Do you ever have to leave one dog at home while you bring another dog to training? Come check out BLOF’s Double the Trouble session where I will help teach you how to work with both of your dogs!

Rally
Handlers and their dogs navigate a course, side-by-side, as the handlers steer their dogs through a course of 10-20 different signs. Each of these signs provides instructions regarding the next skill that is to be performed. Students will learn rules for judging during this class.

Date Night with your Dog
Want to spice up your training??? This class is structurally different each class session and you and your dog won’t know what to expect! Maybe
we will be sitting on a patio, going for a short hike, training in the city, exploring dog friendly businesses. The options are endless!
